Matt Gonzalez, Vice Presidential Candidate
MEET THE CANDIDATE
As San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors President, Matt Gonzalez helped to install rank choice voting and raise the San Francisco minimum wage. In 2003, he ran for San Francisco mayor in a controversial election. An unorthodox politician and local lawyer, Gonzalez plans to shake up the 2008 Presidential Race and reframe the dialogue. Join us for another "Get to Know the Candidate" program, featuring 2008 Independent vice presidential candidate Matt Gonzalez, Ralph Nader running mate, in a wide-ranging conversation about his political views, background and plans for the race in 08.
