Cobb’s welcomes back Charlie Murphy, a hot comic and a veteran actor of both the big and small screens. He is noted for having a ridiculously deep bag of "pimperish, prisony" catch phrases. Dave Chappelle once praised Murphy, saying he was "just as funny, or funnier than a comedian."
Murphy is best known for his contributions to Comedy Central’s “Chappelle’s Show,” writing and acting in some of the shows best sketches including “Charlie Murphy’s True Hollywood Stories” which spoofed the E! Entertainment Television shows. In these Murphy recounts his misadventures with his brother’s entourage, including his encounters with Prince and the late Rick James. Murphy has also appeared many feature films such as “CB4,” “The Players Club,” “Harlem Nights,” and Spike Lee’s “Jungle Fever.” He co-wrote “Vampire In Brooklyn,” which stared his brother, Eddie Murphy.
Charlie is currently performing his stand-up act on a US comedy club, college, casino, and theater tour. Recently he's appeared as a guest on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and Comedy Central's “Merry F-in X-Mas.”
